Charlotte Crosby told she is ‘high risk pregnancy’ as she gives scan update

Charlotte Crosby has been told her pregnancy is ‘high risk’ by doctors.

The former Geordie Shore star is expecting her first baby with new boyfriend Jake Ankers later this year.

But back in 2016 she tragically suffered an ectopic pregnancy when she was with ex Gaz Beadle and almost died.

The 31-year-old feared she couldn’t have children until she discovered she was expecting again earlier this year.

Sharing her first scan pics with her 7.8 million Instagram followers, a beaming Charlotte couldn’t hide her excitement at becoming a mum.

Holding the ultrasound photo up to the camera, she wrote: “Our little baby.”

She continued: “While we were on holiday I literally stared at my scan pictures every single second of the day, like that’s our baby growing inside of me!

“I’m holding up my absolute favourite scan picture! Going into my scans was completely new to me. I was so nervous for so many reasons after my EP (ecoptic pregnancy ) I’m high risk for complications.

“BUT seeing the baby in the correct place with a healthy beating heart at our first scan was nothing short of a miracle to me and my partner.”

The couple have been dating for around eight months

Charlotte said she didn’t expect to see much movement at the first scan “but the baby had other plans”.

She added: “It was like a little acrobat in there turning and spinning and rolling around. I was in awe!

“It was the most magical moment and this picture I’m holding was right in the middle of one of the impressive tumbles and I just love it!

“I love how you can see the little tiny shoulders, the cutest little back and he/she’s little legs stretched out. I could sit here all day trying to guess what I’m having.”

Teasing fans, Charlotte asked: “What do you think boy or girl???”

Charlotte and Jake’s happy news comes weeks after they announced they were an official couple.

The reality star and celebrity driver began dating at the end of 2021 after being introduced by mutual friends.

It is thought they got together shortly after she split from Liam Beaumont in August, meaning they have been dating for around eight months.

Revealing their baby news on Instagram on April 12, Charlotte shared a photo of a positive pregnancy test.

“A moment I wasn’t sure would ever be mine is here. It’s mine (and Jake’s) and I couldn’t be happier to be sharing it with you all… I’m having a baby,” she said.

There was also a video showing the moment Charlotte told her parents the happy news.

Her mum Letitia is heard saying she has “never seen my daughter so happy” and that they think Jake is ‘The One’.
