Loose Women viewers fume as Coleen Nolan fails to address feud rumours on air after vow

Coleen Nolan has infuriated Loose Women viewers by failing to address rumours of a backstage fallout between her and her co-stars.

The former singer had promised to publicly dismiss claims of a feud between the stars of Loose Women during Monday’s live ITV show.

However, the 56-year-old failed to even mention the rumoured reports which claim certain members of the panel are ‘at war’ with one another.

Over the weekend, the panellist slammed the allegation that there is tension between her and her colleagues.

Before her appearance on Monday, Coleen insisted that the rumours would be put to bed live on air after a Twitter user suggested that the Loose ladies should discuss the situation during the show.

The frustrated Loose Women viewer tweeted: “Why can’t this all be confirmed live in front of the nation? Whether it’s true or not.”

To which Coleen replied: “It will be discussed today on Loose Women. 12.30pm on ITV.”

However, during the hotly-anticipated instalment of Loose Women, Coleen never mentioned the speculation – and instead spoke about her love of looking in other people’ fridges.

Following her false promise, furious Loose Women fans flocked to Twitter to share their disappointment.

Coleen never even mentioned the drama

“Is this a joke? I tuned in especially to hear what Coleen had to say after she SAID she was going to address the rumours,” one fan fumed.

“Coleen needs to keep her promises. Mortified,” another echoed.

“Why did Coleen say she was going to open up about the fallout and then she didn’t? Pretty fishy to me,” someone else complained.

“What a waste of my time. Honestly, the most boring Loose Women show I’ve ever watched,” another viewer tweeted.

Meanwhile, a fifth complained: “Ugh. Loose Women has put me in bad form.”

The allegation comes after Coleen’s agent took a swipe at Nadia Sawalha back in August.

The Loose Women ladies were rumoured to have clashed over a tweet sent by talent agent Melanie Blake.

Melanie – who represents former singer Coleen – branded Nadia a ‘nasty witch in the scathing post after working with the TV star for more than 20 years.

Coleen’s agent made headlines when she reacted to a tweet by the official Loose Women page which featured Nadia saying no one was ever harder on her than she was herself.

Melanie, who previously represented Nadia, responded to the tweet by calling the star a ‘witch’.

“It’s a shame she ‘officially ‘ gave up acting because Nadia deserve an Oscar for this speech,” she wrote.

“In 20 years of repping clients I never saw a nastier side to anyone than I did of her & I’m not alone. Her constant ‘be kind’ etc speeches are so ironic considering she is a total witch.”

Following Melanie’s scathing social media attack, reports of an ongoing feud between Coleen and Nadia have continued.

More allegations claimed that a string of stars from the ITV lunchtime show were ‘refusing’ to appear on the same panel as Coleen.

Responding to the allegations, an ITV spokesperson denied the claims to The Mirror.

The spokesperson said: “This story is untrue. Panellists are chosen for each show by the Loose Women Editor and senior production team, not the panellists themselves.”
