Ellie Goulding emerged fresh faced against a beach backdrop to send love to her fans who have supported her since she opened up about her ‘crippling anxiety’ struggles.

The first-time mum, 34, who welcomed son Arthur nine months ago, took to Instagram yesterday to share the stunning shot as the sun was about to set, captioning the post: “Sending love.” followed by a love heart and sunshine emoji.

The Love Me Like You do songstress has been flooded with fans support since confronting her emotions in a New Year message saying she felt ‘something was broken inside’.

The pop star noted she’d had the ‘very best’ year after becoming a mum, releasing a book, and performing for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge but said she’s struggling with a ‘kind of panic I didn’t even know existed’.

She penned on Instagram:”While the moments of being on stage in front of all of you have been some of the most exhilarating and calming, this year I have been struggling.”

Ellie went on to explain that her anxiety has dictated many parts of her life and career, but added that it has also made her ‘who she is today’.

Showing empathy with her fans she added: “I know so many of you reading this feel this same pain and at the same time so many of you won’t have experienced it, but will most likely know someone who has struggled.’

The River singer urged followers to talk to those around them and said she was looking for a ‘bright’ and ‘positive’ year.
